About Me

Ken Rutherford
I worked on the marketing and selling of the stands, both residential and commercial, on Thesen Islands as well as the Dry Mill from late 1998, when the selling began, through the middle of 2007. I initially started this blog to post the "Islander News" which was a sporadic newsletter to the very early buyers on Thesen Islands. The first buyers bought in late 1998 with the first spade being turned in the middle of 2000. The first stands were transferred in mid 2001. The "Islander News" was a way of keeping them up to date with what was happening. It has some of my early pictures of the redevelopment of Thesen Islands which I still find interesting and I thought would be of interest to others. However, now I see this blog as a platform for views and opinions on Thesen Islands, both my own and those of homeowners and any others who have an interest. I live on Thesen Islands.
